Multiples
A multiple is the result of multiplication of one number by another number. For example, 10 is a multiple of both 2 and 5, since
2 × 5 = 10.
WORKED Example
Write the first five multiples of 2.

To find the first five multiples of 2, multiply 2
by 1, then by 2, 3, 4 and finally by 5. Each
product (that is, the result of each
multiplication) is a multiple of 2.

2×1=2
2×2=4
