Bradford School of Optometry and Vision Science (BSOVS) Academic staff involved in myopia research: Dr Catharine Chisholm, Lecturer, Registered Optometrist Dr Matthew Cufflin, Lecturer, Registered Optometrist Dr Karen Hampson, Post-Doctoral Researcher, Physicist Dr Edward Mallen, Reader, Registered Optometrist Dr Ian Pacey, Lecturer, Registered Optometrist Specialist Facilities and Equipment BSOVS has a unique research facility that links adaptive optics into myopia and oculomotor research. We have two adaptive optics systems for examining accommodation and oculomotor function in human observers. BSOVS staff and research students, in collaboration with Queensland University of Technology, have also developed apparatus for the assessment of peripheral refraction and off-axis ocular biometry. Current research developments at BSOVS relate to the refinement of retinal imaging techniques for the assessment of myopic eyes. Selected publications Verkicharla P. K., Mallen E. A.
