LOCATION: VLADIVOSTOK, RUSSIA
Vladivostok - is a port city in the
Far East of Russia. Located on
Muravyev-Amursky peninsula and
islands in Peter the Great Gulf, it is
the final destination on the TransSiberian Railway. It is the seaport
of the Russian Far East and it is
ranked fourth for goods turnover
in the region. Furthermore, it is the
main naval base for the Russian
Pacific fleet. The city is largest
scientific and educational center of
the Far East region; most notably,
Far Eastern Federal University and
Far East Office of the Russian
Academy of Sciences are located in
the city.
Economic development in the Russian Far East is one of the key priorities of the Russian Federation. The
Russian territory from Baikal Lake to the Pacific Ocean has a rich natural resource base, and its proximity to
dynamically emerging markets in the Pacific Rim provides an opportunity for this part of Russia to be an
integral economic partner in the region.
In September 2012, the APEC
summit took place in Vladivostok
on Russky Island. Meetings
between heads of state and
economic representatives from
more than 20 countries in the
Pacific Rim were held in the city.

CULTURAL PROGRAM
MEETING WITH THE
GOVERNOR/RUSSIAN CLASSIC
The brilliant reception, following the finest
Russian traditions of hospitality – the Russian
ball will be a remarkable and unforgettable
event at the East Economic Forum.
"Russian Seasons of the 21st century" is the
project of the famous Russian dancer Andris
Liepa.

BATTELE OF CHAMPIONS
Tsesarevich Embankment will turn into a stylized
seaport with wooden tables and benches. Seafood
will be offered to the guests.
The martial arts arena will host "Fight of
Champions." For the first time, this fight
will take place in Primorsky Krai.
Under the open air, guests will be able to enjoy
the beautiful sunset and to admire a spectacular
night-time view of Vladivostok and its majestic
bridge.
You will see unique "mixed" duels between
the strongest athletes in the world who use
different martial art fighting styles.
