- Fully automated system
- Monitors soil vitals through
humidity sensor.
- Determines best time to
water plant from probing
temperature and brightness.
- Saves water by not watering
plant if it has rained.
Allows user to override system
or set personal preference
through app interface.
Background
• There are already smart sprinkler systems on
the market, and the price is around 250
dollars before installation.
• We will make a cheaper more efficient system.
Goals
• We are going to learn to use many different
sensors, learn about automation, and also
learn to integrate these factors into a stand
alone stable system.
• We will also learn android app development
to create a user interface.
