Author of the thirteen Epistles of Paul in the New Testament. A profound religious thinker Influenced the development of Christianity. Apostle of the Gentiles Who was Paul and what did he do? Paul describes himself as a servant of Christ Jesus called to be an apostle set apart for the gospel of God He taught the messages of Christ. He explained these messages and their meanings to allow more people to understand and join in faith. 5) 50CE The incident at Damascus.
