Cytochrome P450 2D6, the major detox pathway for humans
and plants as it relates to Autism by Eileen Dannemann, director, National

The Cynthia Nevision study regarding Autism trends documents that the prevalence of
diagnosed autism has increased rapidly over the last several decades amongst U.S.
children. Environmental factors are thought to be driving this increase and a list of the top
ten suspected environmental toxins was published recently which includes vaccines and
agricultural pesticides and herbicides such as Monsanto’s Round-UP used as the
companion for genetically engineered seeds.
My article in response to this brave new study focuses on an uninvestigated
commonality-Cytochrome P450 in layman’s terms.
What is Cytochrome P450? According to Wikipedia Human CYPs are primarily membrane-associated
proteins[13] located either in the inner membrane of mitochondria or in the endoplasmic reticulum of cells. CYPs
metabolize thousands of endogenous and exogenous chemicals. Some CYPs metabolize only one (or a very few)
substrates, such as CYP19 (aromatase), while others may metabolize multiple substrates. (like 2D6) Both of these
characteristics account for their central importance in medicine. Cytochrome P450 enzymes are present in most tissues
of the body, and play important roles in hormone synthesis and breakdown (including estrogen and testosterone
synthesis and metabolism), cholesterol synthesis, and vitamin D metabolism. Cytochrome P450 enzymes also function to
metabolize potentially toxic compounds, including drugs and products of endogenous metabolism such as bilirubin,
principally in the liver.The Human Genome Project has identified 57 human genes coding for the various cytochrome
P450 enzymes.[14] CYPs are the major enzymes involved in drug metabolism, accounting for about 75% of the total
metabolism.[16] Most drugs undergo deactivation by CYPs, either directly or by facilitated excretion from the body. Also,
many substances are bioactivated by CYPs to form their active compounds.
Drug interaction
Many drugs may increase or decrease the activity of various CYP isozymes either by inducing the biosynthesis of an isozyme
(enzyme induction) or by directly inhibiting the activity of the CYP (enzyme inhibition). This is a major source of adverse drug
interactions, since changes in CYP enzyme activity may affect the metabolism and clearance of various drugs.
Let us begin a layman’s humble attempt to explain: Aside from the mercury,
aluminum and agricultural chemicals, Ms. Nevsion’s study also mentions that high
fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is found in many food products, is another source of
dietary mercury. It is to be noted that the corn that HFCS is derived from is genetically
engineered corn grown with glyphosate (Round Up), which interferes in Cytochrome
P450 2D6 metabolism. Patents will show that the dual program of Round Up and GMO
seeds has much to do with Cytochrome P450 in plants. Hence, the study’s implication
that glyphosate is a contributor to Autism.
Mercury also inhibits the activity of this major detox mechanism. Both aluminum and
mercury inhibit the activity of the most major detox pathway of both the plant and human
body.

child immunization schedule when several vaccines containing mercury were
removed. Two-month old babies now receive 1,225 mcg of aluminum from their
vaccines -- 50 times higher than safety levels!
Glutathione
Very interesting to note is that Cytochrome P450 also regulates glutathione - found
depleted in Autism cases.
Cytochrome P450 Immature In infants and Children
Another thing to consider is that cytochrome P450 is “maturing”. That is this major gene
and detox pathway of the human body is not “mature” in the infant or child. Hence,
every child that is vaccinated has a variation in their ability to clear out the toxins
whether it is mercury, aluminum or other toxic elements of the vaccines. For example,
10 % of Caucasians are non-metabolizers due to simple genetic variation. It is not a
defect. They have no (emphasis added) activity of the most major Detox pathway
Cytochrome P450 2D6. Given this, it can be theorized that the extreme cases such as
Autism on the Autism Spectrum are amongst children who may be poor or nonmetabolizers by their Cytochrome P450 genetic nature. (remember it is not a defect) And
that the lesser range of Autism Spectrum or neurological injuries are due to the variations
in a child’s individual maturity of the cytochrome functioning which controls their ability
to detoxify the intense children’s vaccine schedule. So some children are harmed more
than other and some recover more quickly. I have noted that children who are on gluten
and casein free organic diets (known as the GAP diet) recover more easily since the
immune system is present in the gut.
As another way of explaining this in layman’s terms-Tanzanian Africans, for example are
ultra rapid metabolizers. Over generations, they have multiplied their cytochrome
detoxing function due to ingesting medicinal weeds in place of good food because of
poor soil conditions of their country and poverty. So, it stands to reason that people in
the USA where soil conditions (prior to 1930s and before the introduction of toxic
agriculture) were organic, may have initiated a “dormant” cytochrome P450 2D6 cycle
function as toxicity was not an issue.
At that time food was primarily organic and the pharmaceuticals had not yet developed
the enormous range of drugs we have today such as the SSRIs (Prozac, Zoloft, Wellbutin,
etc). Hence the cytochrome function may have become dormant in the generational
demographics that ate organic foods and had little or no exposure to toxins. Of course
there was some insanity going on at that time in history but there was also over the
counter drugs such as cough medicine, codeine, etc. that persons without the

Suddenly, in the last decade mankind finds themselves in a toxic soup with a high need
for a functioning detox mechanism. It is to be noted regarding the toxic soup we live in
is that once the child is diagnosed on the autism spectrum, or mental illness, which in
reality is a toxic assault from vaccination, they are given the modern SSRI drugs. 10,000
toddlers between the ages of 1 and 3 are on medication.

inserts such as found in Respirdal, are detoxed through the Cytochrome P450 2D6
pathway. Ritalin and Adderall the most generously prescribed medication for school
aged children need Cytochrome P450 2D6 to metabolize. Having injected children from
the 1980s to 2001 (the relative date when the CDC was forced to take the mercury out of
15 of the recommended children’s vaccines) with 25 mcgs of mercury with each vaccine,
despite identifying the maturity factor or the presence of a functioning Cytochrome P450
2D6, the mercury and aluminum remains lodged in the body depending on ones ability to
metabolize. Mercury and aluminum inhibits Cytochrome P450 2D6. Hence, when the
psyche drugs are then given to kids, they are harmed even more because their cytochrome
P450 is inhibited due to the presence of the heavy metals and they have adverse reactions
to the psyche meds, which are usually downplayed.
School Shooters and Cytochrome P450
James Holmes, Adam Lanza, Jerod Loughner are just a few names of young men
involved in the modern epidemic of mass shootings. All of which were vaccinated and
were put on psyche drugs. Are these examples of people who are non-or poor
metabolizers? Dr. Yolande Lucire, Australian psychiatrist has done a study on homicides

Those who are non-or poor metabolizers and are on psyche drugs have a penchant to
commit heinous homicides or suicides. List of the drugs that need 2D6 pathway to
metabolize. Because of their low cytochrome function they are virtually
INVOLUNTARILY INTOXICATED by psyche ward hospitals and private physicians.
Many of the psyche meds have black box warnings of suicidal ideations.
These SSRI and more are the drugs that must have a highly functioning Cytochrome
P450 2d6 to detoxify the drugs from the body. However, it is not standard of care to test
for the functioning prior to the prescribing or the injecting of vaccines into little infants
and children. If one is a non-or poor metabolizer, or has mercury or aluminum lodged in
the body interfering in the cytochrome functioning, then that person can become
psychotic very easily. It appears that the heinous (emphasis added) homicidal ideations
and the suicidal ideations come when they quit the medications suddenly.
Disabling Humanity-The pattern
First the pregnant woman is injected with 4 vaccine doses, (in-utero vaccination to a fetus
the size of a thumb) a CDC recommendation that has no scientific basis. On the contrary,
there was a 4,250% increase in fetal deaths during the 2009/10 H1N1 pandemic year
when they double dosed pregnant women with the seasonal flu shot and the untested
H1N1 strain both containing 25 mcgs of mercury and yet due to a successful and
fraudulent cover up the CDC successfully recommends that a pregnant woman get the
TDaP vaccines and the flu shot without consideration of the mercury content.

poor people and the uninformed in the United States and all over the world. It contains
mercury. The single dose vial does not. Therefore, not only are the USA clinic/Medicaid
patients (children, adults and the elderly) receiving a shot from the cheaper cost
multidose vial containing mercury but the poor all over the world are receiving 25mcgs
of mercury in every yearly flu shot, as if they haven’t got enough problems.
Then children are injected with 49 vaccine doses by the time they are six years old
starting on the day of birth with the Hepatitis B vaccine which at one time contained
mercury. We could also mention the Rhogam shots to pregnant women, which at one
time also contain mercury. Furthermore Vaccines containing high concentrations of
neurotoxic aluminum were added to the child immunization schedule when several
vaccines containing mercury were removed. Two-month old babies now receive
1,225 mcg of aluminum from their vaccines -- 50 times higher than safety levels!
They are then misdiagnosed as mentally ill rather than physiologically
neurologically injured and are given psyche medications (see links above).
Add glyphosate (Round Up) drenched GMO food to the picture.
And all the while the CDC is not only continuing to recommend and mandate
vaccines for children in order to go to school but the State’s due to the funding
programs from the Federal government take no oversight position to determine for
themselves whether a vaccine is effective for the child or cost effective for the state.
Meanwhile, there is a healthcare crisis and a Medicaid crises. Government assistant
programs such as Medicaid and special needs education at both Federal and state
levels are unsustainable as the vaccination program is considered by researchers
and parent alike as the cause of life long chronic illnesses. The governments are
attempting to sustain programs for every chronically ill individual’s lifetime.
Illnesses such as obesity, asthma, allergies, autism, adhd, ocd, bipolar, precocious
puberty, juvenile diabetes, neurodevelopmental problems, educational problems,
angelman’s syndrome, etc. are just some of the lifelong problems. Besides its
damaging effect to the individual and the happiness of the families who are
burdened with life long illnesses, vaccinations are not cost-effective and their cost
effectiveness should be analyzed in light of the preponderance of independent
research that point to vaccines as the 1000 lb gorilla in the room.
