 Imagine you have a pet that you no longer
want. What is the best way to get rid of it?
 What are the trade-offs of your decision?
Lake Victoria- Background
 Lake Victoria is surrounded by three countries:
Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
 The ownership of the lake is divided among the three
as follows: Tanzania has 49%, Uganda has 45%, and
Kenya has 6%.
 The lake itself has an area of 26,830 square miles,
which is nearly the size of the state of West Virginia.
 It is the second largest lake in the world (Lake
Superior, one of the Great Lakes, is the largest).
 Despite its size, it is a shallow lake of less than 300
feet at its deepest point.
