PEOPLE OF INFLUENCE.
WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT ?
Joh 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.”
Joh 1:14 ‘And the Word became flesh,
and tabernacled among us. And we
beheld His glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father, full of grace and
of truth.”
HOW DOES THE WORD OF GOD
INFLUENCE US?
1. IT WORKS IN US –
1Th 2:13 “And for this cause we thank God without
ceasing, that when you received the Word of
hearing, of God, you welcomed it as the Word of
God, not as a word of men, but as it is, truly the
Word of God, which also effectually works in you
who believe.”
2. IT PRODUCES FAITHRom 10:17 “Then faith is of hearing, and
hearing by the Word of God.”
3. IT BRINGS ABOUT NEW BIRTH.
1Pe 1:23 having been born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the
living Word of God, and abiding forever.
1Jn 3:9 Everyone who has been born of God
does not commit sin, because His seed remains in
him, and he cannot sin, because he has been
born of God.
4.IT PROVIDES SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT.
1Pe 2:1 Therefore laying aside all malice
and all guile and hypocrisies and envyings,
and all evil speaking, desire the sincere milk
of the Word, as new-born babes, so that
you may grow by it;
5. BRINGS PHYSICAL/MENTAL &
EMOTIONAL HEALING
Psa 107:20 “He sent His Word and heals them, and
delivers them from their pitfalls.”
Pro 4:20 “My son, listen to my words; bow down
your ear to my sayings.
Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in
the midst of your heart.
For they are life to those who find them, and health
to all his flesh. “
6. DAILY DIRECTION
Psa 119:105 : “Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and
a light to my path.”
Pro 3:5 “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and
lean not to your own understanding. In all your
ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your
paths.”
VICTORY OVER SIN AND SATAN
Psa 17:4 Concerning the works of men, by
the Words of Your lips, I am kept from the
paths of the destroyer.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him
because of the blood of the Lamb, and
because of the word of their testimony. And
they did not love their soul until death.
CLEANSING AND SANCTIFICATION
Eph 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, even as
Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for
it, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the Word, that He might
present it to Himself as the glorious church, without
spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that it should
be holy and without blemish..”
HOW WILL THE WORD INFLUENCE
OTHERS THROUGH MY LIFE..?
Jas 1:22 But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves.
Jas 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer,
he is like a man studying his natural face in a mirror.
Jas 1:24 For he studied himself and went his way, and
immediately he forgot what he was like.
Jas 1:25 But whoever looks into the perfect Law of liberty and
continues in it, he is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the
work. This one shall be blessed in his doing.
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said
to him, If a man loves Me, he will
keep My Word. And My Father will
love him, and We will come to him
and make Our abode with him.
