in the ankle pierce the flexor
retinaculum supply the skin on
the posterior and lower part of
the heel.
• 3- articular branch to the ankle
joint.

Branches in the leg:
1- peroneal artery :
a-muscular bNutrient branch to
the fibula.
c- Perforating artery dThe peroneal artery
