What type of earlobe do you have?

The gene for free hanging
earlobes is dominant, and the
gene for attached earlobes is
recessive.
•
That means that you have free
hanging earlobes if you inherited
the gene for it from at least one of
your parents meaning that your
genotype is “EE” or “Ee”
•
However, you have attached
earlobes if you inherited genes
from both parents that give
instructions for attached lobes
(“ee”).

Dimples

Dimples are visible indentations
of the skin, caused by underlying
flesh, which form on some
people's cheeks when they smile.
Dimples are genetically inherited
and are a dominant trait. Having
no dimples is a recessive trait.

Dimples on each cheek are a
relatively common occurrence for
people with dimples. A rarer form
is the single dimple, which occurs
on one side of the face only.

noticeable in children than adults.
