How can I install Stride Academy as a web app on my
iPad?
To install Stride Academy as a web app on your iPad, first use Safari to go
to www.stridestart.com. Once you are there, a pop-up message will appear asking you to install
this web app on your iPad, and add it to your Home Screen for easy access. PLEASE NOTE
that when you install Stride Academy as a web app on your iPad, you will still need an
internet connection in order to login and access the program.
This “web app mode” is the preferred method of logging in to Stride Academy on iPad
and all tablet devices, for the best audio performance and memory/bandwidth
management.
In fact, if you are not hearing automatic audio/voiceover on your tablet in grades PreK-2, you
need to install Stride Academy as a web app rather than using your browser to
access www.stridestart.com. Other tablet devices besides iPad may have different instructions
for installing a web app or icon to the home screen. Please consult the Help documentation for
your tablet.
