Imperialism Political Cartoon Assignment
You may work with ONE other person on this project. Your assignment is to create a political cartoon that
depicts any aspect of the Age of Imperialism (1870 – 1915). Political cartoons are illustrations or comics that
contain a political or social message related to current events or historical events (we have seen several related
to imperialism in class). ALL CARTOONS ARE DUE BY THE END OF THE HOUR ON THURSDAY
FEBRUARY 9, 2017.
Requirements:
1. Can be done on provided computer paper or
another paper of your choosing.
2. You must include at least TWO historically
accurate representations.
3. You must include a one-paragraph description
of how your cartoon is illustrating the Age of
Imperialism.
4. Cartoons should be neat, colorful, and creative.
