SPECIAL AWARD When one theatre has on its repertory seven plays by our most famous comedist, Branislav Nušić, that cannot be considered a coincidence but rather a careful theatrical contemplation, aimed at the protection of the domestic playwright and his work. And Nušić definitely deserves that. 2. THE BEST PRODUCTION Having derived from the distant Estonian national tradition, and using the elements of the ritual theatre, the performance „Werewolf“, by August Kitzberg, has revived the story about the power of the feelings of love, which cannot be suppressed by either prejudices, or believing in paranormal occurrences, and customs. The performance captivated the audience with the uniformity of acting, within the original directing solutions. The interpreters of several major characters distinguished themselves, and won the attention of the spectators by the directness and spontaneity of the acting expression, so that the story about the werewolf was communicated in an appropriate aesthetic manner of the contemporary theatre.
