Everyone Is Not Doing It-3 part series for teens*
UPDATED! Mike Long has developed this brand new video tape series specifically for Title
V. In fact, Sen. Lauch Faircloth (the sponsor of Title V legislation) said, “This series will
help tremendously to fill the need expressed by educators around the country for quality
video resources designed to teach young people how to make healthy, responsible choices
about sexuality and other high risk behaviors. This is the kind of resource I had in mind when
I sponsored the legislation....” Contains the latest strategies and video techniques to
successfully implement the abstinence until marriage concept in the classroom.
--Mike Long
Everyone Is NOT Doing It-Parent Presentation*
Mike Long is speaking directly to parents and teachers of adolescents. He emphasizes the
importance of directive teaching and parenting in training teens how to avoid potentially
dangerous sexual consequences. He explains why abstinence from sexual activity outside of
marriage must be the expected standard of behavior for all adolescents. Long exposes the
challenges teens face from peer pressure regarding sex so that parents and teachers can have
a better understanding of “where teens are coming from” on this subject. This DVD will
provide the confidence parents and teachers need to reach teens more effectively on the issue
of sexual abstinence until marriage.

I Kissed Dating Goodbye (Video, Book and Study Guide available)
Countless teens today feel depressed or discouraged because they don't have a boyfriend or
girlfriend. Many single Christians feel frustrated with cultural expectations and patterns of
dating. Youth pastors and parents find themselves dealing with young adults who fall into
sexual temptation or spend more energy on dating than on following God. I Kissed Dating
Goodbye offers an all-new approach to dating relationships. It calls young adults away from
playing the dating game and reveals how they can live a lifestyle of sincere love, true purity,
and purposeful singleness. Honest and practical, this powerful book will inspire teens and
young adults to remap their romantic lives in the light of God's Word.

It Ain’t Worth It (Public School Version)*
To date there are more than 50 different sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), many of
which are rampant among the youth of our nation. These diseases, coupled with the millions
of unwanted pregnancies that end in an untold number of abortions each year, are symptoms
of a national epidemic: sexual promiscuity. The costs of this epidemic are staggering, both in
human suffering, loss of life and expense to society.

Searching for True Love: Love, Purity and Trust
Searching for True Love: LOVE
Searching for true love? You're not alone. Love is the most used--and probably misused--word
in the language. What is it? What does it look like? How does it act? Joshua Harris reveals
surprising secrets about love in this segment. Using humor, drama, on-the-street interviews,
and sessions taped before an audience. Josh defines true love and how its power can make it
possible for you to enjoy lifelong, meaningful relationships. You desire for the best for your
life--true love. That's what God wants for you, too. Hang in there. Your search is almost
over.
--Joshua Harris, Eden Communications
Searching for True Love: PURITY
Searching for true love? Then prepare for purity. There's a word you don't hear often. Is it
just an outdated idea, or something we need in our lives today? This session shows that
purity is a direction, a course that starts in our hearts. In an age of compromise, how do we
maintain outward modesty and a life of inward purity? Why would we want to? Josh defines
our ultimate motivation for living a life of purity and why it should be a priority in our
relationships.
--Joshua Harris, Eden Communications
Searching for True Love: TRUST
Trust. It's easier to say you have it than it is to live it. If you let God direct your romantic life
will He really do what's best? It's all about trust. This session reveals that "singleness" isn't a
secondary status. It's not a time for simmering on the back burner and watching life go by.
It's a chance to develop your gifts and make the most of today. And all this is possible if
you're willing to trust God's timing for romance.

Sex Ed: No Screwin’ Around*
Pam Stenzel traveled the globe talking to teens and their parents about sex for this new
abstinence DVD. They talk about their experiences, they talk about character, they talk about
STDs, pregnancy, boundaries, friends, respect, body parts, good relationships and bad ones,
boy and girls. It’s all real, it’s all true. Sex is a big deal, it is a topic we all deal with at some
point, and we are all a result of the act... whether we like it or not. If this video could be
summed up in one statement, it is this - if you have sex outside of one monogamous
relationship, there will be consequences. No one has ever had sex outside of that context and
not paid. The question you have to ask yourself is this; what is the cost and is it worth
paying.
--Pam Stenzel
Sex Still has a Price Tag-Public School Version*
Today, people are faced with a raging plague of sex related problems. Pregnancy, sexually
transmitted diseases and rape statistics are at all-time highs. Even so, today's society
encourages sexual activity, and young people must have a compelling reason to commit to
sexual abstinence. In "Sex Still Has a Price Tag," world renowned abstinence educator,
Pam Stenzel, combines her personal story and extensive pregnancy counseling experience in
a hard hitting look at the physical and emotional consequences of sexual activity outside of
one permanent monogamous relationship. In a captivating and inspiring talk, Pam tackles the
touch issues of sex with candor, insight and humor while challenging young people to
embrace the benefits of abstinence.
--Pam Stenzel
S.P.A.M. (Student Peer Abstinence Movement) Rural(7th and 8th grade) and Ninth Grade
Presentations*
Hundreds of Kalispell students in high school and middle school are being
encouraged by respected high school students from varied social groups not to
have sex. With an adult coach supervising, S.P.A.M. forms teams of six students
usually consisting of three males and three females including both virgins and
"secondary virgins" (persons who have experienced sex but are now choosing
abstinence). These teams travel to middle/junior high schools and talk with 7th, 8th
and 9th graders about their choices to remain abstinent. Teams use effective
presentations including skits dealing with sexual pressures. It is the mission of the
Student Peer Abstinence Movement to assist school districts in developing
effective peer-taught sexual abstinence programs. S.P.A.M., in partnership with
students, parents, schools, and the community, challenges teens to consider the
numerous benefits of postponing sexual activity until establishing a mutually
faithful monogamous relationship, as occurs in a marriage between a man and a
woman.

Each and every day, 8,000+ teens contract a new STD. 85% of these teens do not even know
they have a life-threatening disease. The Rules Have Changed is a succinct video that
answers questions parents and teens have about the dangers of sex. Is there really an STD
epidemic? Aren’t STDs curable with medicine? Isn’t ‘safe sex’ safe? are just a few of the
issues Dr. Meeker and Dr. Maxwell address. Dr. Warren talks about the emotional dangers of
premature sex. This DVD is ideal for school and youth group presentations. 21 minutes.

Emotional Purity
Have you ever given your heart to someone who didn’t love you back? Do you feel like
you’ve experienced heartache over and over again? If you are emotionally attached to
someone, it’s easy to cross the line and become emotionally intimate. Then if the relationship
doesn’t work out, you’re left with scars on your heart. The church teaches us the importance
of physical purity; but it teaches little about emotional purity. Christian singles often wear
their hearts on their sleeves, which can lead to intense, emotionally intimate, male-female
“friendships” with no commitment to pursuing marriage. People may have had several of
these “friendships” and still consider themselves pure, but in reality they have given away
pieces of their hearts that should be reserved for their future spouses. Emotional Purity will
show you how to define and set boundaries in your relationships to avoid making the same
mistakes. Learn how to guard your heart and keep it emotionally pure. Using fictional and
real-life examples along with sound biblical advice, author Heather Arnel Paulsen outlines
the pitfalls of undefined relationships and presents guidelines for living an emotionally pure
life.

He’s HOT, She’s HOT: What to Look for in the Opposite Sex
Don’t Get Burned by Your Choice of Date (or Mate) . . .Everyone who wants to date or get
married is looking for someone who’s hot. In the language of the world, hot refers to
someone who is sexy or attractive. But according to Jeramy Clark, author of the bestseller I
Gave Dating a Chance, and his wife and co-author Jerusha Clark, a new definition of the
word can provide you with an easy-to-use standard for applying God’s wisdom in one of the

How to Teach the Facts of Life
Teaching the FACTS of Life is directed to parents of basically “healthy” familites who are
looking for practical guidance as they coach their teenagers through the ups and downs of
adolescence. Their goal is to provide a source of wisdom related to adolescent sexuality and
emotional maturity. It is intended to present information from the standpoint of sociology or
psychology, but from their experience as parents and educators.

and purposeful singleness. Honest and practical, this powerful book will inspire teens and

Innocence Lost, Hope Regained: Teenagers Talk Openly About Premarital Sex
Never before has our culture put so much pressure on teens to have sex before marriage.
Youth-oriented films and TV programs actually make it seem stupid NOT to be having sex.
The consequences of this pressure are tragic – alarming numbers of unwed pregnancies,
sexually transmitted diseases, depression and even suicides. In this compelling collection of
stories youth leader Richie Lambeth, eight teens and young adults tell in their own words
their experience with virginity – lost, restored, or saved until the wedding day.

Quest For Love
In QUEST FOR LOVE, the companion to PASSION AND PURITY, Elisabeth Elliot shares
many of the letters she has received from her readers. She responds to their confusion and
heartfelt needs with sound, biblical guidance. She dusts off "antiquated" concepts such as
commitment, integrity, honor, and servanthood and applies them to dating and singleness
today. Intertwined with the questioning letters are hopeful stories of how men and women
discovered love through God's direction. As you read their honest revelations, you'll be able
to "discern the better way" by discovering what happened when they put their love life under
the authority of Jesus Christ.

Sex and Character*
Sex and Character is a supplemental textbook that uses character-development as an essential
basis for teaching abstinence until marriage. Young people, growing up in today's high-risk
world, need to clearly understand what those risks are, and it benefits them greatly to hear the
stories of their peers sharing how their decisions have impacted their lives. This book is
chock full of wise counsel, up-to-date information, helpful referrals, lists of organizations
prepared to help teens in trouble, beautiful color photos, charts and graphs. This book will
help teens, teachers and parents discuss this difficult subject with the aid of discussion
questions at the end of each chapter.

What (Almost) Nobody Will Tell You About Sex
Sex is everything. Sex is nothing. So which is it? The way some people talk, you’d think sex
is like food--three meals a day or else we starve and die. On the other hand, you know sex
definitely isn’t nothing. It’s too potent, too instinctive to simply deny. Sooner or later,
everybody deals with it.
This journal, What (Almost) Nobody Will Tell You About Sex, is a whole-person approach
to your sexuality and God. In other words, sex is more than pelvises and plumbing. Sexuality
is woven throughout all of you--your body, your mind, your spirit. It’s the way we’re wired.
The way God wired us.
Jim Hancock and Kara Eckmann Powell, Youth Specialties, Zondervan
What’s the Big Deal? Why God Cares About Sex
Third in the series, this book reinforces previous instruction on the basics of sexual
intercourse and the fundamental goodness of our sexuality, continues the task of deliberately
building your child's understanding of why God intends sex to be reserved for marriage, and
helps you begin the process of "inoculating" your child against the negative moral messages
of the world. The principle of inoculation suggests that while we should not allow our
children to be inundated with the destructive messages of the world, we should deliberately
expose them to the contrary moral messages that they will hear in order to build up their
defenses against them. Content is presented in a question & answer format in which
questions by "Sam" and "Amy" are followed by answers from "Mom" and "Dad." You can
read this book with your child or have him/her read it and then discuss it with you. Each
chapter is concluded with questions for discussion.

When True Love Doesn’t Wait
How do you help the teenagers in your youth group who are desperately seeking forgiveness
in the area of purity? This plain-cover booklet is the perfect counseling tool for every youth
leader to have within reach. You’ll be able to help a troubled teen address issues like:
deciding whom to tell; getting a physical check-up; understanding guilt; experiencing
forgiveness; deciding about the future of the relationship with the person with whom he or
she has stumbled; responding in cases where a teen was forced to have sex; planning dates
without intimacy; deciding about a fresh True Love Waits commitment (there’s a
commitment card inside the booklet); choosing a mentor and guide for this fresh
commitment; and helping the person with whom he or she has stumbled. No doubt, this is a
tough subject, but a stack of these booklets in your desk drawer will be a good place to start
the healing.

less promiscuity and increased personal effort to step out of the cycle.
