•Research and construct a model of a technology
device that is older than 2000 years old (BC).
•The device or tool may be related to:
•Food
•Shelter
•Clothing
•Transportation
•Communication
•Health
•Protection
Research
• Provide a short write-up describing the device.
– When it was invented
– What was it used for?
– What materials were used in its construction?
– Who used it? (Romans, Native Americans, etc)
– Provide an accurate picture of the actual device if
possible.
Construct the Model
• Keep in mind this is a model. (You can’t bring a
full size catapult or dangerous weapons to
school!)
• Use accurate materials as possible.
• Your model should look and function like the
original.
