• The woomera is a sort of cradle for the spear
and can magnify the distance and power of
the throw exponentially. Since the Aboriginal

• Aboriginals had quite a clever way of making
fire. They get a broad piece of wood bore a
hole in it get a smaller stick, put some tinder
around it and start giving it some friction, the
tinder caches, you put some wood on and you
got a nice warm fire
• Like I said before the Aboriginals never got
their hands on a bow and arrow. The
boomerang was used in war, however was
effective in hunting small game, bats, and
different birds.

• Lets face it unless you live right near Alice
Springs you need something to carry and
purify water. The aboriginals used animal hide
or large leaves with several stints in it and get
some water. For the purifying process they
would get 2 tall forked sticks and put the
handle on a stick that sits in the forks, start a
fire and boil it.
• Bug larva is fairly popular, large game is a little
difficult to find sometimes, small game and
birds are common as well as nuts and honey,
some fruits and vegetables can be found
• Lets face it you might face illness or injury if
trying to survive. This is a list of some of the

• -paper bark can be a pain killer
• -Eucalyptus can cure minor illness
• Tea Tree leaves can treat skin infection
