Condom use among adolescents decrease as they mature. Each year, an estimated 3 million adolescents are infected with STD’s. Adolescents lack access to contraceptives – Confidentiality, cost, embarrassment, transportation, and objection of a partner. Condom Availability Programs are Common 418 public schools in the United States make condoms available to students. In 81% of schools, some type of parental consent is required before a student can acquire a condom. In 90% of schools with condom availability programs, students may receive counseling.
