THIS IS ZECHARIAH’S FOURTH VISION:
ISRAEL WILL BE CLEANSED AND
RESTORED AS A PREISTLY NATION

The priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge
of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me,
they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand
before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood, says the Lord GOD.

There was a day when the sons of God came to present
themselves before the LORD and Satan also came among them.

The LORD said to Satan, From where do you come? Satan
answered the LORD saying, From going to and fro on the earth and
from walking back and forth on it.

The LORD said to Satan, Have you considered My servant
Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and
upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?

Satan answered the LORD saying, Does Job fear God for
nothing?
10
Have You not made a hedge around him, around his
household, and around all that he has on every side? You have
blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased
in the land.
11
But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has,
and he will surely curse You to Your face!

answered the LORD saying, From going to and fro on the earth, and

The LORD said to Satan, Have you considered My servant
Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and
upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds
fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy
him without cause.

Satan answered the LORD saying, Skin for skin! Yes, all that
a man has he will give for his life.
5
But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his
flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!

The LORD said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand, but
spare his life.

judgment and by the spirit of burning,

clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD stood by.

righteousness which is from God by faith;

breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skillfully woven tunic, a turban, and

shall also judge My house, and likewise have charge of

oath by Him who said to Him: The Lord has sworn and will not
relent, You are a priest forever according to the order of

testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may
prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;

the iniquity of that land in one day.

In that day, says the LORD of hosts, Everyone will
invite his neighbor under his vine and under his fig tree.

to David a Branch of righteousness; a King shall reign and
prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely;
now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD
OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (NKJ)

In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David a
Branch of righteousness; he shall execute judgment and
righteousness in the earth.
In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell
safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE

stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure
foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.

The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief

The iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were
crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing
floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was
found. And the stone that struck the image became a great
mountain and filled the whole earth. (NKJ)
WHAT DID THIS STONE SIGNIFY?

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men,
but chosen by God and precious,

you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual
house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable
to God through Jesus Christ.

Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, Behold, I lay
in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on
Him will by no means be put to shame.

Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those
who are disobedient, The stone which the builders rejected has
become the chief cornerstone,

WHAT DID THIS STONE SIGNIFY

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners,
but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of
God,

Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone,

In whom the whole building, being joined together, grows
into a holy temple in the Lord,

In whom you also are being built together for a dwelling
place of God in the Spirit.
