How did he ban political parties?
 Communists banned after Reichstag Fire. This helped
him to pass the Enabling Act which allowed him to
ban other political parties in July 1933
 How else did he establish a dictatorship?

or were in a persecuted group. (Jews, women,
gypsies, gay, communist etc.)
 Lack of trade unions – working hours longer, can’t
speak out, no free press
