Guidelines in filling forms and reporting The role of Principal Investigator is to lead the research team and report the progress of research. To enable the Project Investigator/researcher/ research coordinator/ reviewer to report, general guidelines are given in filling the SAGA forms. These guidelines form the basis of this section. 1.1. SAGA Progress Report (Blue Form) (a) Purpose The purpose of the SAGA Progress Report is to allow the SAGA Secretariat to monitor the progress of research by each of SAGA-funded project. (b) Information required In the SAGA Progress Report form, the Project Investigator is required to indicate the milestones, timelines, and the actual expenditures incurred during the period. The Principal Investigator (PI) is required to provide justification in the case of changes and planned corrective actions for any variation of expenditure from budget. The PI is required to indicate whether the project objectives have been achieved. 1.1.1 Guidelines in filling Project Description (Part A) Please provide the complete CDC, Field and Sub-field code numbers as provided by Table (1), (2) and (3) (see Appendix I).
