ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS
Isaiah 11:12 He will set up a banner for the
nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah From
the four corners of the earth.
Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for
whom are all things and by whom are all things,
in bringing many sons to glory, to make the
captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings.
Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having
received the promises, but having seen them afar
off were assured of them, embraced them and
confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims
on the earth. 14 For those who say such things
declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15
And truly if they had called to mind that country
from which they had come out, they would have
had opportunity to return. 16 But now they
desire a better, that is, a heavenly country.
Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their
God, for He has prepared a city for them.
Hebrews 13:14 For here we have no continuing
city, but we seek the one to come.
Exodus 14:13 "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and
see the salvation of the LORD, which He will
accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians
whom you see today, you shall see again no more
forever. 14 "The LORD will fight for you, and you
shall hold your peace."
Exodus 14:15 And the LORD said to Moses, "Why
do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go
forward. 16 "But lift up your rod, and stretch out
your hand over the sea and divide it. And the
children of Israel shall go on dry ground through
the midst of the sea. 17 "And I indeed will
harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall
follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh
and over all his army, his chariots, and his
horsemen. 18 "Then the Egyptians shall know
that I am the LORD, when I have gained honor
for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his
horsemen."
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the goal for the
prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15
Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this
mind;
Acts 26:9 "Indeed, I myself thought I must do
many things contrary to the name of Jesus of

found in Him, not having my own righteousness,
which is from the law, but that which is through

God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the
power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of
His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11
if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection
from the dead.
Hebrews 5:8 though He was a Son, yet He learned
obedience by the things which He suffered. 9
And having been perfected, He became the
author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
Acts 5:29 We ought to obey God rather than men.
2 Timothy 2:3 You therefore must endure
hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No
one engaged in warfare entangles himself with
the affairs of this life, that he may please him
who enlisted him as a soldier.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures
temptation; for when he has been approved, he
will receive the crown of life which the Lord has
promised to those who love Him.

of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the
word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end
with all perseverance and supplication for all the
saints
