Love is Kindness
Kindness - this is another aspect of the love of God. It is one of the facets
of the love fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is not natural to man, but is a work of
the Spirit through the new birth, and His infilling.
The Meaning of Kindness
In the original this word means serviceable, good-natured, pleasant,
gracious, helpful. It has also been translated easy, gentleness,
goodness. Kindness will go to any lengths to help and be of service.
It is the attitude of servant hood in the love of God. Kindness is
dedicated to making life easy and blessed for others. When Jesus
washed his disciples' feet He was demonstrating kindness. His
miracles, His healings and deliverances were all acts of
supernatural kindness. Kindness cannot stand to see miserable,
unhappy, diseased and wretched people.

alleviate the pain and suffering of man. His kindness
will meet all your needs.

Instead of being painful and burdensome toward those
around us - instead of being part of the problem, we are
to become part of the solution to one another's problems.
That is, we are to be easy and helpful and we are to
serve so that others can relax and be at ease in our
company.

extent to which it will go.
We Commend Ourselves
We should be able to draw up a list of activities that
speak of the love of God in our lives. How far are we
prepared to go? What will the fully developed fruit look
like?
Tribulations,
needs,
distresses,
stripes,
imprisonment, tumults, labours, sleeplessness, fasting this is what kindness will endure for the sake of
other people.

This literally means servants of God - and as we have
said, kindness is related to the servant aspect of God's
love.
'Hesed'
This is the Hebrew of the Greek 'agape'. It literally
means to 'bend the back or neck in service'. This is
what Jesus did. This is an act of kindness performed by
the Creator of the universe. Jesus demonstrated to
His disciples what they should do and showed them
what servants of God should be like.

God's kindness is a facet of the richness of His mercy; of
His great love for us. Compassion is a force within the
Father that moves Him towards kindness - and He has
placed that force within us.
The Exceeding Riches of His Grace
Notice the adjective: 'exceeding‘ Exceeding means to
throw beyond or to overdo it. Riches means having
more than you can see any way to use. Grace,
according to Vine's Dictionary, means "that which
bestows pleasure, delight, or causes favourable
regard."

The greatest act of kindness is that God should
take one who is dead in sin and make him
alive. God in His kindness takes sons of
disobedience, bound by lusts of the flesh and by
nature children of wrath, and makes them alive,
raising them to the heavenly places and
bestowing the full rights of royal children on
them.

A Fruit of the Elect
Our lives as the elect and as ambassadors of Christ should be flooded with
the exceeding riches of the grace of God. We should allow this greatness of
His love to gush out onto the world around us.

bring life in abundance
If you leave the fragrance of death around you it is because have not
demonstrated the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness.

Kindness appeared in the form of the Lord Jesus
Christ our Saviour. Jesus Christ is kindness
itself seen in His life on this earth. His whole
ministry says one thing - KINDNESS.

Regeneration means reborn which in itself is a
washing. When the old nature falls away and
is replaced by a new creature. The newly born
creature has a new nature of love and
kindness. Kindness is a fruit of the renewing of
the Holy Spirit.
The incorruptible seed of
kindness is a genetic trait, a hereditary quality in
the new creature.
