The Hydrological Cycle
• Describes the continuous movement of water
on, above, and below the surface of the Earth.
Since the water cycle is truly a "cycle," there
is no beginning or end. Water can change
states among liquid, vapour, and ice at various
places in the water cycle
There are many processes that occur within the
hydrological cycle, these are;
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Evaporation
Transpiration
Evapotranspiration
Condensation
Advection
Precipitation
Infiltration
Percolation
Throughflow
Runoff
The force powering the
cycle is SOLAR POWER,
the hydrological cycle
cannot occur without this.

the surface?

hydrological cycle.

hydrological cycle.
