DEVELOPMENT OF SPORT AND
SPORT CULTURE
Who are we?
Association Footura was created in 2013 from a
group of amateur sportsmen with idea to
disseminate and help of the development of
youth and amateur sport.
For us Sport is not only hobby, it is privilege and
a tool for physical and personal growth.
Aims
“FOOTURA’s main aims are the development and popularizing of Sport (football, minifootball,
tennis, table tennis, volleyball, table soccer (djaga), etc.) as well as activities on sports and
cultural tourism, exchange programs for youths, etc.
High priority for us is the development of youth activities, initiatives and projects, supporting
healthy lifestyles and physical education of children and youths.
•More children, youths and amateurs in Sport
•Social inclusion through Sport
•Charity Sport
•Sport as the best tool for better physical culture, for fighting against depression, addictions,
overweight, agression etc.
•We believe that the active way of living, practicing of various sports on amateur level is the key
for good sport education to children and youths, for mentally and physically healthier society, for
better sport base for future professional sportsmen, etc.
•Footura is an open organization for everyone that shares our vision about sports and sport
culture. Together we are stronger.
We work for awareness of active citizenship of young people, tolerance, equal
opportunities through sport for all on international, national, regional and local level.
For these purposes, the organization includes active youths in its projects, campaigns
and initiatives, working together with representatives of local authorities and many
organizations (from Bulgaria and abroad), foundations, companies and government
institutions.
Relevant Sport studies and reseaches
•Footura members were among the participants in the big International scientific
conference "Modern trends of physical education and sport“ in Sofia. In 2013 –
Hristiyana Guteva and in 2014 and 2015 – Ivaylo Stamenkov. Their studies refers to
“The role and impact of the referees / officials in sport” and “Geographic and
economic impact of sport”. In 2015 the president of Footura Mr. Metodiev
participated in big international conference in Romanian Sports Academy /Bucurest/
with a reseacrh called “Bringing children closer to sports”.

Association Footura uses the most effective tools for enforcement and promotion of the brand. Good examples
