Postdoctoral Position in Evaluation of Immunodeficiencies

A postdoctoral position is available immediately for a highly motivated candidate with a
background in immunology or virology to join the Medical Virology Section, Laboratory
of Infectious Diseases at NIAID.
Research in the Medical Virology Section is aimed to identity cellular genes important
for control of Epstein-Barr virus infections. The Medical Virology Section evaluates
patients who have severe chronic disease due to Epstein-Barr virus. The section uses
genetic testing to try to identify and characterize new cellular genes important for
controlling the virus to develop new forms of treatment.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D., have less than five years of postdoctoral
experience and experience in immunology or virology.
