News ReleaseASW Launches a Statewide Fundraising Campaign lead by The THR Group.
The Autism Society of Washington, with its state office based in Olympia,
Washington has launched a fundraising campaign.
The THR GROUP, www.thethrgroup.com, has been hired to lead ASW in organizing
fundraising activities around the state. Joe Searles, owner of The THR GROUP, also
based in Olympia, was challenged to help ASW when he heard that 1 out of 110 children
will be diagnosed with autism and that the percentage higher for boys.
ASW depends on donations, as this is the organization’s main source of funding,
supplemented by a recent website grant from the Washington State Department of
Health’s Autism Awareness Project.
Though ASW is a chapter of the Autism Society of America, ASW does not receive any
financial support from ASA and any donation received by ASW stays in Washington
