Righteousness
The Fruits Of The Spirit # 1
We will be talking about dealing with spiritual realities, they are not
something that the human reasoning can understand through
observation or physical sensation, but we're dealing with the basic laws
of man's being, the great spiritual laws that govern the unseen forces of
life.
There are many great forces that come from the re-created human
spirit. They are building blocks that are used to build your spiritual life.
Ever-Increasing Faith
The first building block is faith. Faith is not the product of reasoning. It
is required to please God and is the method that he used to create the
heavens and the earth, he did it all by his faith.
God is a faith God. He works by faith. As re-created, born again men
and women, we are to walk by faith and live by faith.
Jesus said, if a man has faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say
to this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and the
mountain would obey him.
Jesus spoke to the sea, the wind, to a dead man, and the laws of nature,
they all obeyed him, Jesus did unreasonable things and they all obeyed

him. Jesus was not governed by his reasoning, but his spirit, which is
above reasoning, ruled for Jesus; Jesus did the most unreasonable
things.
He stood by the tomb of the decaying body of Lazarus and said to that
body, Lazarus come forth, and the spirit of Lazarus entered into his
physical body and it was renewed, made perfectly normal and healthy,
by faith. Jesus spoke the voice of faith. Words filled with faith
dominated the laws of death, and subdue the forces [death, decay and
etc.] that have ruled humans since the fall of man [Adam’s sin].
It was the same voice that spoke to the water and it became wine. It was
the same voice that spoke to the sea. “Peace be still”.
When we realized the source of faith, then we will be able to develop it.
When we learn what produces faith, the kind of food and activities that
are necessary to develop it, we have the answers that we need.
Faith is the product of your spirit, just as wisdom is a product of your
spirit, faith is developed and wisdom is enriched by meditating in the
word of God
The word comes to man through his human spirit, God communicates it
to man's reasoning facilities. Man's spirit is governed by God's Spirit,
enabling him to bring God's message to man's consciousness through
this revelation.
By the same token, faith is developed in the human spirit by the word of
God. It comes by acting on the word.
You must exercise it by acting on the word. Every time you act upon the
word, faith becomes stronger. Your physical body becomes stronger as

you exercise it, so it is with faith, it must be continually exercised in
order to develop it
The Fruit of Righteousness
Until we clearly understand that we are the righteousness of God in
Christ, sin consciousness will make our faith weak and ineffective. Our
faith cannot grow and develop, as long as sin consciousness dominates
our human spirit.
We will not be able to exercise and develop God's wisdom in our daily
walk, if sin consciousness dominates our spirit.
It's sad but true that many of our churches have developed sin
consciousness by preaching sin instead of destroying sin consciousness
with the truth.
If they would preach the cure for sin consciousness, if they would make
clear the fact that man received eternal life and that eternal life was the
nature of God, and that the nature of God is righteousness. Man would
begin to develop and build upon the new kind of righteousness that has
been imparted to him.
We all need to begin to say: if I am a new creation, created in Christ
Jesus, I must be a righteous creation. If I am a new man, I must be free
from the bondage of the old man. If what he says about the
righteousness of the new creation is true. Then my spirit is righteous. If
it is righteous, then I can stand in the Father's presence without fear of
judgment or condemnation.
There is therefore now no condemnation to me, because I am in Christ
Jesus, a new creation, created in righteousness and holiness and truth.

This clears the way for our enjoying the riches of the fullness of our
redemption in Christ. This should eliminate sin consciousness because
we now know that all that Christ wrought, he wrought for us. His entire
substitutionary work, from the time he was made sin until you sit down
at the right hand of the Father, was for us.
The new creation man is the result of the work of Christ; therefore we
know that the new creation man is acceptable and satisfactory to our
Heavenly Father.
If God is able to satisfy the claims of justice against man, then this new
creation man who has received the substance and nature of God can
stand in God's presence just as though sin had never been.
This new creation man becomes a victor and conquers and an overcome
through the word of God and guilt and condemnation have to flee, he
actually becomes limitless in the vast possibilities of this life.
We can now see the vast possibilities of this re-created spirit. It actually
enters into a limitless life. The human mind and body began to lose their
place of prominence and the spirit comes to the front and actually
begins to take over the rest of the man [body and soul]. It has been held
a prisoner through all the ages, now it is set free because guilt and sin
consciousness have been abolished.
Its blind eyes at last are open. Its paralyzed limbs are at last filled with
life. Its voice now becomes the voice of God.
Just as soon as you realize the reality of your righteousness in Christ,
you are set free. Righteousness is your redemption in Christ Jesus.
Satan has no dominion over the man who knows he is the righteousness
of God in Christ. This makes the new creation man a master.

Perfect conditions between your spirit and your reasoning facilities
cannot come about until you realize the reality of your spirits
redemption, your spirit righteousness, and your spirit union with God
the Father.
I believe that what the Scriptures say about us is absolutely true, that
God himself is now our very righteousness, and that we are the
righteousness of God in him.
I am convinced that we are partakers of God's Divine Nature.
There is now no condemnation to us who walk in the light as He is the
light. You now stand before God complete in Christ. Just remember this
life and nature of God is righteousness. Consequently the man who has
received the nature of God has automatically become the righteousness
of God in Christ.
