Professions of Faith
You are encouraged to personalize these professions of faith in Christ by reading them aloud.
1. I am born again from above.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God’” (John 3:3).
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever” (I Peter 1:23).
2. My first birth was a fleshly birth, but the second birth is a spiritual birth.
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to
Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man
can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into
his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the
flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye
must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst
not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit” (John
3:1-8).
3. I am born not of seed that is corruptible, but of incorruptible seed. This means that
when I do sin within the will, I will not corrupt the spirit.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever” (I Peter 1:23).
4. I am born of the Word of God, which lives and dwells in me for ever.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever” (I Peter 1:23).
5. Since I am born again in the spirit, I am not able to sin in the spirit. I can not sin in my
spirit-man because God's seed lives within me.
“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God” (I John 3:9).
6. Since I am born of the Spirit of God, Satan can not touch my spirit to destroy it.
“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not” (I John 5:18).
7. I have been taken out of Satan's kingdom of darkness and have been translated into the
kingdom of Jesus Christ.
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his
dear Son.” (Colossians 1:13).
8. I have been made free from the power of sin and have become a servant of righteousness.
“Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness” (Romans 6:18).
9. I have been joined unto Christ
“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (I Corinthians 6:17).
10. In Christ, I am complete; therefore, I need nothing more.
“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:10).
11. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit.
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom
also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13).
12. I was spiritually dead to the things of God. I was actually dead in my spirit, but I have
been made alive by the spirit of Christ.
“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”
(Ephesians 2:5).
13. I was considered a sinner, but now I am made the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ.
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of
God in him” (II Corinthians 5:21).
14. Because of the righteousness that I have in Christ, I am fully accepted of God.
“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved” (Ephesians
1:6).
15. God’s complete love for me casts out the fear of judgment.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth
is not made perfect in love” (I John 4:18).
16. I am set apart from the world unto the living God; therefore, I am actually a saint.
“Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be
saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours”
(I Corinthians 1:2).
17. I am not condemned as I live in Christ.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).
18. I actually have the divine nature of God dwelling within me.
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (II
Peter 1:4).
19. In the spirit, I am seated with Christ Jesus in heaven far above all the powers of the
enemy.
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”
(Ephesians 2:6).
20. I have eternal life in Christ.
“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:15).
21. From the very moment that I received Christ until the end, I shall not perish.
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out
of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them
out of my Father's hand” (John 10:28-29).
22. I am in the hands of Jesus and in the hands of God, the Father. Therefore, nothing is
able to take me out of God’s hands.
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out
of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them
out of my Father's hand” (John 10:28-29).
23. No weapon that the enemy has formed against me shall prosper.
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in
judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 54:17).
24. As I humble myself and fear the LORD, I find riches, honor, and life.
“By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life” (Proverbs 22:4).
25. As I meekly engraft God’s Word into my life, it saves my mind from thinking wrong
thoughts, my will from making wrong decisions, and my heart from feeling wrong
emotions.
“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the
engrafted word, which is able to save your souls” (James 1:21).
26. Jesus is always with me.
“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
27. I will not have to face the wrath of God because I have received salvation through our
Lord Jesus Christ.
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (I
Thessalonians 5:9).
28. God has called me unto himself, but not according to my works, but by his own gift of
grace.
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to
his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began” (II Timothy
1:9).
29. I am successful as I meditate on and apply the Word of God in my life.
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
30. God has elected me to be holy and to receive His love.
“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of
mind, meekness, longsuffering” (Colossians 3:12).
31. In Christ, I am justified (just as if I had never sinned).
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth” (Romans 8:33).
32. As I walk in the Spirit, I do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).
33. Even if I come to disbelieve, Jesus can not deny that he lives within me.
“If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself" (II Timothy 2:13).
34. I have bold access to the throne of God to find mercy and grace in time of need.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to
help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
35. God has predestinated that I be formed into the image of Jesus Christ.
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he
might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29).
36. I have been reconciled to God through the death of Jesus.
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life” (Romans 5:10).
37. God has confirmed me unto the very end so that I am considered to be without blame.
“Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus
Christ” (I Corinthians 1:8).
38. I am confident that since God began his good work in me that He will continue that
work until the day of Jesus Christ.
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until
the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).
39. God’s Word leads me as I walk, keeps me as I sleep, and talks to me when I awake.
“When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it
shall talk with thee" (Proverbs 6:22 )
40. God will keep that which I have committed unto him until the day of judgment.
“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I
have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day” (II Timothy 1:12)
41. I know the truth and the truth makes me free.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
42. God has chosen me and ordained me that I should go and bring forth lasting fruit.
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth
fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may
give it you” (John 15:16).
43. As a new creation, I am made free through Jesus from the power of the enemy.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
44. I have been saved by grace through faith.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of
works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
45. I have the grace to walk through every temptation without sinning.
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not
suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to
escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (I Corinthians 10:13).
46. I am set free from emotional bruises (blows to my identity) through Jesus.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he
hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised” (Luke 4:18).
47. I have both spiritual and physical healing though the stripes of Jesus.
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live
unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" (I Peter 2:24).
48. I am able to walk in the light as a child of the light.
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light”
(Ephesians 5:8).
49. I am a fellowcitizen with other saints in the household of God.
“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the
household of God” (Ephesians 2:19).
50. I find my strength in Christ when I am weak.
“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for
Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong” (II Corinthians 12:10).
51. I will not be afraid of what man can do to me because I trust in the LORD.
“In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me” (Psalms 56:11).
52. I am washed, sanctified, and justified by the name of Jesus and the Spirit of God.
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name
of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” (I Corinthians 6:11).
53. Since I am born of God, I have overcome the world. I have victory over the world
through my faith.
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the
world, even our faith” (I John 5:4).
54. I know that I am a disciple of Jesus because I love others.
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35).
55. I have forgiveness for my sins.
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of
his grace” (Ephesians 1:7).
56. I am more than a conqueror through God that loves me.
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:37).
57. The fact is that nothing can separate me from the love of God.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or
famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35).
58. God has given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (II
Timothy 1:7).
59. The spirit of Jesus that lives me is greater than the enemy in the world.
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he
that is in the world” (I John 4:4).
60. God always causes me to triumph in Christ.
“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the
savour of his knowledge by us in every place” (II Corinthians 2:14).
61. I am a heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. What the Father gave to Jesus, also belongs to
me.

that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:17).
62. I have access to all of the promises of God in Christ. God says, "Yes" and "So let it be".

Corinthians 1:20)

blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3).
64. God has redeemed me from curse of the law that he might give me the promises of Abraham.
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the
Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith”
(Galatians 3:13-14).
65. I have the capacity to hear and obey the voice of Jesus.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).
68. I am the light of the world, giving off the light Christ.
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid” (Matthew 5:14).
69. I am the salt that gives life flavor and the salt that preserves purity.
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is
thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men” (Matthew
5:13).
70. My God supplies all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”
(Philippians 4:19).
71. I am chosen person, a part of a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, and a God-possessed
person that declares the praises of God who has called me out of darkness unto to his
marvelous light.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (I Peter
2:9).
72. I have access to both the promises of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
“Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is
like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old”
(Matthew 13:52).
73. I know that God is working all things together for my good and His glory.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
74. It is God’s desire that I prosper and be in health as my soul prospers.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
prospereth” (III John 1:2).

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked” (Ephesians 6:16).
76. I will fear no evil because God is with me.

me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” (Psalms 23:4).
77. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for me when I don’t know how to pray.

ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”
(Romans 8:26).
78. I have been made alive from death in trespasses and sin.

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4).
81. God is working in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13).
82. I can know the proper meaning of God’s Word as I diligently study it.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15).
83. I have put on the new man which is created in the image of God.
“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created
him” (Colossians 3:10).

“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed
day by day” (II Corinthians 4:16).
85. Since I have been crucified with Christ, Christ now lives though me.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”
(Galatians 2:20).
86. God’s Word builds me up and gives me an inheritance among those that are sanctified.
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you
up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” (Acts 20:32).
87. I overcome the accuser by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of my testimony, and not
loving my life unto death.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they
loved not their lives unto the death.
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe
to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time” (Revelation 12:11-12).
88. I am not one who draws back into perdition, but one who believes to the saving of my
soul.
“But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the
soul” (Hebrews 10:39).
89. The Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and preserve me unto his heavenly
kingdom.
“And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly
kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (II Timothy 4:18).
90. I am an ambassador (a high ranking official representative of the kingdom of God) for Christ.
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in
Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God” (II Corinthians 5:20).
91. God has given me of His Spirit that I might know the things that He has freely given
unto me.
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might
know the things that are freely given to us of God” (1 Corinthians 2:12).
92. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit purchased with a price.
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of
God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body,
and in your spirit, which are God's” (I Corinthians 6:19-20).
93. God has given me a gift that I might minister to others.
“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of
the manifold grace of God” (I Peter 4:10).
94. As I share the Word, God works through me and confirms the Word with signs.
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall
not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
So then after the Lord had
spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
And they
went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with
signs following. Amen” (Mark 16:17-20).

know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” (Daniel 11:32).
98. I am a branch that abides in the vine of Jesus that brings forth much fruit.
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much
fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5).
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth
fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may
give it you” (John 15:16).
99. God will withhold no good thing from me as I live righteously.
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he
withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalms 84:11)
100. As I submit my life to God and resist the devil, the devil must flee from me.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
101. When I am afraid, I will put my trust in God.
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee” (Psalms 56:3).

“For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish” (II
Corinthians 2:15).
102. I find peace of mind as I keep my mind upon God.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee”
(Isaiah 26:3).
104. God has given me the ministry of reconciliation.
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (II Corinthians 5:19).
105. I am an adopted child of God.
“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the
good pleasure of his will” (Ephesians 1:5).
106. I have unsearchable riches in Christ.
“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the
Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” (Ephesians 3:8).
107. I have a home in heaven that Jesus has prepared for me.
“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you” (John 14:2).
