Mike Day,
Business Head of RCIS
I’m Mike Day and we are proud of our support of the agricultural community. With 30 years in the crop
insurance industry, we continue to help farmers and ranchers manage risk and keep crop insurance
affordable, available, and viable.
We are excited to now be part of Zurich North America. Our relationship with Zurich goes back many
years, as an RCIS reinsurer since the mid-90s. As we’ve transitioned to become part of Zurich, our focus
is on customer service and superior claims service. Customer service is important at all levels of our
business.
Kathleen Savio,
President
Programs, Direct Markets, Captives and Crop,
Zurich North America
I’m Kathleen Savio and we, at Zurich, are excited to begin this new chapter with RCIS. Zurich’s
mission is to help our customers understand and protect themselves from risk.
We have been a part of American business for more than 100 years. And that means we understand
how important farmers and the agriculture industry are to the American economy. In an industry
where one catastrophic event like a bad storm or frost could wipe out months of hard work, most
farmers would not think of operating without some form of crop insurance. We want to HELP farmers
stay competitive and be more innovative, by offering them, among other things, insurance protection.
In collaboration with RCIS, we know they’ve built a solid business with great customer and agent
relationships, tenured adjusters, and a strong leadership team. The integration of our organizations
will allow us to leverage each other’s capabilities, resources and expertise to work stronger together.
In particular, we will continue to concentrate our efforts on providing the highest quality customer
experience to enhance our customer relationships.
We look forward to growing stronger together to enhance our overall insurance offering to best serve
the needs of America’s agricultural community.
Dan Bird,
RCIS National Field Service Manager
For decades, RCIS has helped shape the crop insurance business by offering a comprehensive line of
insurance products to help meet the unique needs of farmers and ranchers. With about 3,800
professionally trained and licensed agents, we have a strong team to help America’s farmers and
ranchers insure their futures.
Our future is bright. With the current trend for ownership changes of crop insurance companies by
parent companies, some whose core business is not insurance, we are proud of our transition to
Zurich.

Chuck Eldredge,
RCIS National Claims Manager
Farmers rely on us when disaster strikes. We understand that when a producer files a claim, they are
doing so because their livelihood is in jeopardy. It’s at this critical time our 900 RCIS adjusters are
ready to help. These well-trained adjusters know the crops, conditions, and marketing challenges
faced by farmers in their area.
RCIS is investing in our people, processes, and systems to best serve our customers in a time of
growing claims complexity. We are proud to be a part of an industry that protects what matters most
to America’s farmers and ranchers.
Rick Greenwood,
RCIS Technology Manager
Our team members are committed to delivering innovative solutions and tools and our resources are
committed to supporting our agents, farmers and ranchers. We’re proud to have one of the industry
leading mapping systems and we’re also very excited about the new digital signature service for
claims to help our agents and their policyholders.
At RCIS, we understand the importance of efficiency and the tools needed to provide the best
customer service possible.
Christy Seyfert,
RCIS Government Relations Director
RCIS builds lasting and successful relationships with key federal and industry associations and
alliances. We’re committed to having a proactive voice at the table with agents, farm groups, policy
makers and the USDA’s Risk Management Agency, to help preserve and protect the nation’s primary
agricultural risk management program.
Mike Day,
Head of RCIS
We are honored to serve agents, farmers and ranchers, and the agricultural community. We look
forward to our opportunities ahead. We grow stronger every day, together.
