I have been involved in the refurbishment of buildings, worked as a draughtsman, designed and built some of the projects. I have worked as well as an art teacher in a secondary school in France and as a graphic designer for companies specialized in printing or advertising or cartography. Since 1986 and until now, I have worked on many projects in Boat Building in France, Sweden, England, Norway, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, Germany, USA and New Zealand. These projects involved the latest technology and developments in Yacht Racing. Depending on the projects, my involvement included taking part in the building and/or the design, or concentrating on a specific part of the project (modification, refit or tooling). I can send you a list of the projects but here are the most recent : 2008 ORACLE TRIMARAN - America’s Cup - USA Involved to build the two floats and crossed beams 2006 TRANSPAC 52’ (Sotto Voce – Glory) - New Zealand Responsible of the building of the two boats 2005 BRASIL1 - Volvo 70’ - Brazil Building and refit (four months) 2005 NZL82 - Team NZ - New Zealand Contracted by Marten yachts for the refit of one of their AC boats 2004 ABN AMRO - Volvo 70’ - Holland Composite components and building of companion way (three months contract) 2003/04 CRUISING YACHT 72’ - Marten yacht - New Zealand Joinery and general building FAST CRUISING YACHT 48' - Knierim Kiel - Germany 2003 General building and more specifically in charge of the steering system, chainplates and companion way (this last item being designed and built by myself) WARWICK 66' - Salthouse - New Zealand Involved in the building of the steering and the companion way 2002/03 SPARS (MAST & BOOM) - Southern Spars - New Zealand Building main and mizzaine booms for China Doll. 2002 UCA RACING MAXI - Knierim Kiel - Germany Mainly Building companionway, chainplates ( main , forestay ,runners ). 2001/02 CRUISING CATAMARAN 48’ - England Project manager, interior designer, owner’s representative. 2001 SEB - Volvo race - Portugal and Sweden Modification on EX-SILK CUT and EX-TOSHIBA for the team SEB in Portugal. The yard was : Making carbon fibre masts for multi hulls Building racing off-shore power boats Involved in the technical assistance for the multi hulls : -POULAIN for Olivier De Kersauson -COTE D’OR for Eric Tabarly -KRITER for Philippe Monet -ROGER ET GALLET for Eric Loiseau -GROUPE PIERRE PREMIER for Florence Arthaud More recently , 2007 and end of 2008, I have been involved in the movie industry ,working as a props and miniatures maker at Weta’s studio, New Zealand (2007) and at South Vineyard’s studio, New Zealand (2008), building reproductions of antic fishing boats.
