John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that
they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. NKJV
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you
will* have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." NKJV (1 John 4:4)
Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. NKJV
Psalms 119:130 The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. NKJV
Psalms 139:1-3 O LORD, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my
rising up; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, And
are acquainted with all my ways. NKJV
Hebrews 12:1-3 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us
lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the
race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the
joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right
hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against
Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. NKJV
Numbers 21:4-6 4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the
land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. 5 And the
people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die
in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light
bread. 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much
people of Israel died. KJV
1 Samuel 30:1-6 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third
day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with
fire; 2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or
small, but carried them away, and went on their way. 3 So David and his men came to the city,
and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were
taken captives. 4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept,
until they had no more power to weep. 5 And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the
Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite. 6 And David was greatly distressed; for
the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his
sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. KJV

Psalms 27:1-6 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of
my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My
enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart
shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. 4 One thing I have
desired of the LORD, That will I seek:That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my
life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. 5 For in the time of trouble He
shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me
high upon a rock. 6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the
LORD. NKJV
Matthew 14:27-32 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do
not be afraid." 28 And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to
You on the water." 29 So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he
walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,* he was
afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" 31 And immediately Jesus
stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. NKJV
2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. NKJV
2 Corinthians 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are
not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are
eternal. NKJV
Isaiah 40:28-31 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The
Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the
youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the
LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not
be weary, They shall walk and not faint. NKJV
Philippians 3:12-14 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on,
that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not
count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind
and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of
the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. NKJV
