Her poems, of strict rhyme and rhythm, are still well-admired in Israeli culture, and many of them were set to music. Whom shall he meet? It will be very interesting to find out as the story unfolds…!" The rhyming story Where is Pluto describes the escapades of a doggy from Kibbutz Megiddo who flees from his owner's house in search of adventure, travels from place to place and meets various animals, and finally goes back home. The story portrays a private journey of discovery, concluded by a safe return home. The book became a popular classic in the West after WWW2. It is based on a story by Dina Ron with illustrations by her spouse, Ari Ron, and was first published in 1957. It all began in Kibbutz Megiddo, when Ari made some drawings of Pluto, the family dog, in the intention of making his baby daughter happy; later on, Dina added prose to the drawings. When the story came to the attention of Leah Goldberg, who was working at the time as Children's Books Editor in Sifriyat Hapoalim Publishers, she rewrote it and added rhymes.
