Telephone Briefing Proposal Instructions Selections All proposals will be reviewed by a volunteer advisory board of bankers. Important Please be sure to include your contact information at the bottom of the Telephone Briefing Proposal Form. How to submit a successful topic Focus on session take-home value by incorporating practical how-to ideas. How to Submit a Proposal Step 1: Qualify Selection is based on proposed speaker's qualifications and level of expertise on proposed subject matter. Selected speakers must hold senior level titles and possess appropriate technical expertise. Preference is given to ABA Service Members. Proposals that include a banker as a co-presenter or panelist will also receive preference. We want to encourage bankers talking to bankers about what works and what doesn't work. ABA is dedicated to presenting valuable educations sessions. Therefore please keep in mind that our telephone briefings are not forums to sell products and services. Presentations must be issue oriented and cannot highlight an individual vendor or product. Session content should move past "the basics." Attendees are looking for the latest thinking. Substitution Policy: Speaker substitutions are subject to ABA approval. In the event a proposed and confirmed speaker cannot fulfill his/her commitment, the presenting company will not be guaranteed a speaking slot for an alternative representative. About ABA Telephone Briefings ABA’s popular telephone briefings are designed to address specific topics within the banking industry. Each briefing is usually two hours long and presented by a panel of experts, with audience members having the opportunity to ask questions.
