Apollo Beach StorSafe Location is now a Drop-off Center for Spent
Electronics through its Partnership with local Certified Electronics Recycler
AERC Recycling Solutions
Apollo Beach, FL (March 1, 2011) – Storage and electronics recycling create a perfect pairing
now that Apollo Beach area residents have access to a convenient electronics recycling drop-off
point at their local StorSafe location. StorSafe recently partnered with leading full-service
recycling company AERC Recycling Solutions to provide its customers with a convenient option
for the quick and safe disposal of acceptable end-of-life electronics. StorSafe customers may
drop their spent electronics off at their local StorSafe location.
Acceptable Electronic Waste materials include computer towers, laptops, printers, scanners,
CPUs, computer monitors, internal computer components, telephones, telecommunication
equipment, cameras, hand held games, gaming consoles, computer accessories and
peripherals, cables, wires and other electronic equipment. AERC Recycling Solutions
specializes in Electronic Waste recycling and secure data management by completely
destroying all data contained on any data storage devices collected from clients. AERC
ensures that all accepted electronics are disposed of according to a Zero-Waste-to-Landfill
Policy.
StorSafe’s Apollo Beach area facility is located in Gibsonton at 12704 South US Highway 41.
“StorSafe is dedicated to ensuring safe and convenient storage services to customers.
Partnering with AERC Recycling Solutions allows us to expand those services to Sanford area
residents by offering e-waste recycling in addition to storage solutions,” said Joseph Burdett,
StoreSafe Apollo Manager.
“Storage and recycling go hand-in-hand,” said Lindsay Landmesser, Vice President of Sales
and Marketing, AERC Recycling Solutions. “Oftentimes people bring their unwanted electronics
to storage facilities because they don’t want these materials cluttering their homes and are
unaware of how to properly dispose of them. By bringing Electronic Waste to StorSafe, people
will have more space to store other valuable possessions and have the peace of mind of
knowing that their electronics will be safely recycled with a local Certified Electronics
Recycler®.”
All accepted electronics would be processed at AERC’s local Electronics Processing Com-Cycle
Facility in West Melbourne, Florida. This facility has the distinction of being one of the first
electronic recyclers to attain R2 / RIOS Certification and become a Certified Electronics
Recycler®. For more information about how to recycle Electronic Waste at StorSafe locations,
