It is the first in a series of many where the amazing author, Robert Jordan, writes about action- packed battles in a magical world. Rand, the main character, is just a farm boy that gets flung into an outstanding and perilous adventure. Some of his friends fight and travel the world together and fight dark friends to save a world desperately needing help. The book has an interesting storyline. Rand and his allies go on an adventure to try to stop the dark lord. Crazy obstacles like sickness and distress happen that will test friendships and battles are everywhere. Can they save the world?
