Renowned adventurer and award-winning travel writer Richard Bangs explores the Geopark in Hong Kong on his latest American Public Television special. Bangs is on a Quest
for the Dragon as he seeks to discover why Hong Kong is so prosperous, so energized, so
vital, so cutting edge. Richard’s quest takes him from the towering structures in Central
and Western Hong Kong and across the hive-like Victoria harbor to the Kowloon peninsula.
He sails to the ecological preserve, the Geo-park and to Lantau Island. Leader of 35 first
descents of rivers around the globe, a mountain climber and renowned author, Richard
brings a lifetime of experience to Adventures with Purpose—Hong Kong: Quest for
