To maintain records that fulfil Ofsted requirements as laid out in the EYFS and all other administrative duties associated with the childcare provision Responsibility for the management of the nursery in the absence of the manager To work with parents and outside agencies to ensure children are able to reach their potential Responsible for direct delivery in an area of the nursery. Line management of identified staff Degree in childcare or commitment to working towards Commitment to undertaking a Leadership and Management qualification Computer literate DBS regulated check GCSE English and Maths A-C if undertaking qualification in childcare -1- EXPERIENCE Leadership experience in an Early Years setting Experience of delivering EYFS Experience of Safeguarding/SENCO role Excellent communication and organisation skills DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Line management and effective deployment of staff Ensure the safeguarding of children and staff within the setting in line with internal and LSCB guidelines Support the manager in the recruitment, induction and performance management of staff. Undertaking administration, record keeping identified by Manager including; documents associated with EYFS, H&S, PRAMS, First Steps, Child protection and SENCO Input into Observation, Assessment and Planning systems across nursery To ensure that all staff implements EYFS at all times.
