When our loved ones say goodbye and we have to be apart,
God can fill our loneliness
With his presence in our hearts.
Carol I'm so sorry last nite i lost a hero,and you lost the greatest friend a woman can ever have
someone who believed in you, trusted you ,followed your dreams and more than anything loved
you with only the love a man can love his life mate . Carol I never told you this but I just loved
watching the two of you together it was exciting in relaxing way . When it was your turn to run no
matter what Gene was selling he Stopped to watch you ! Because those where his dreams
running too Carol I'm so sorry I will always remember him as a great quite funny clean dressed
man with A big heart

We are so sad with you, Gene was such an amazing person, and we are all so blessed to have
known him. One of the last times I was at your place for a lesson, he gave me a receipt from Ellis
Western Wear to give to Jack, it was a receipt for a pair of boots that Kay had purchased many
years ago, how thoughtful...how did he even know that he had that receipt? I will never forget
that.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you during this time, and anytime. May
God keep you in His arms and give you strength and peace.

Hello my friend of long ago and of days to come and for eternity,
I am saddened at the hearing of the loss of your loved one, Gene. I so wish that I lived
closer and could give you a big hug and do something for you. I offer my condolences
and my prayers. I pray that God will surround you with only the kinds of things and
people that you need.
I pray that you will be able to think clearly and with peace in all the decisions that you
must make.
I pray that the Holy spirit will continually minister hope and comfort to you.
I pray that you will remember that you have the mind of Christ – a sound mind – one that
has the power of love and of faith.
I pray that you will remember that all you have to do is walk out the next few steps – one
moment at a time.
I pray that you will remember how many people love you and most of all, as we walk
through the sadness left by death that you will remember that eye has not seen, ear has
not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man all that god has in store for those who
love HIM.
Words are pretty shallow at times like these , but here is a hug and a declaration that I
love you and have so many fond memories with you and am here if you ever need me.

I cannot comprehend the hurt and devastation you must be feeling right now. I am so
very sorry to know that Gene has passed to God. Gene is one of the best people I have
ever met in my life. I will miss him very much. I am praying that God gives you and your

people I have ever known. He will be missed, he taught me so much about horse tack. I will never
forget when Carol and Gene hosted barrel races, every time I entered he said "go speedy" and
that was our standing joke because I was not speedy at all....Carol is in my prayers!
