Electronic Sales and Use Tax, Inc. is the owner and developer of efileSalesTax.com
(formerly ESNUTAX.com), the first bilingual (English/Spanish) web site authorized by the
California State Board of Equalization (BOE) for the electronic payment of sales and use
taxes.
•
Electronic Sales and Use Tax, Inc. completed testing by the BOE in June 2002, becoming
only the third Electronic Return Originator (ERO) to meet the State’s rigorous standards for
efiling, and the first to offer efiling in Spanish.

Electronic Sales and Use Tax, Inc. was established in August 2001 and incorporated in April
2002. The Company received State approval as an authorized ERO in June 2002.

The Company is based in Newbury Park, CA. The main office phone is (877) 584-2309 and

Electronic Sales and Use Tax, Inc. was founded by Richard Paul, CEO, and Ramon Rochin,
Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Paul has spent 14 years in technology companies and has
developed e-commerce web sites and online databases for those companies. Mr. Rochin is an
accountant and has worked on the R&D team of a software developer specializing in
corporate tax applications.

The efile web site, efileSalesTax.com, can be accessed directly, or from a link on the
California BOE web site.
•
Currently efile tax payments must be deducted directly from a user’s bank account. The
charge for the efileSalesTax.com service is $4.95 per efiling and can be paid with any major
credit card. An ongoing promotion offers the “First Filing Free”.
