1002 Colon Poster HIRSCHPRUNGS' LIKE SYNDROME ASSOCIATED WITH ACUTE INTERMITANT PORPHYRIA IN YOUNG ADULT- A CASE STUDY Hadary A.*, Dinai Y.**, Shoshani G.***, Cozacov C.* The department of general surgery* and internal medicine**, Rebecca Sieff Hospital, Safed and the department of pediatric surgery***, Rambam Hospital, Haifa, Israel A 20 years old soldier presented with acute large bowel obstruction. Anamnesis revealed that the man was suffering from constipation and soiling since early childhood. A comprehensive conservative treatment afforded stabilization of his condition. A thorough multidisciplinary clinical investigation led to the abovementioned diagnosis. The patient had anorectal myectomy with good clinical response. A pathological diagnosis of hypoganglyonosis was made. The "Road Map" that led to a successful management of these rarely associated medical conditions will be presented.
