Attends to the patients for consultation.
a. Takes down patient’s data, complaints and vital signs.
b. Assists physician in examination of patients, like; positioning, preparation of patients, and collection
of specimen.
c. Performs procedures as ordered like giving of injections, dressing.
d. Gives follow-up instructions and health teachings.

Admits patients and does admitting procedures:
a. Takes down vital signs
b. Gathering of data and complaints
c. Carries out initial doctor’s orders like starting IVF therapy, giving out initial medications and
procedures like,
 sponging patients with high fever

Dressing of wounds of home or discharged patients and administration of meds especially
injectables for tetanus, toxoid, DTP, duck embryo, Strep SO 4, etc.



Follow-up immunization schedules of tetanus, DTP, Oral Polio vaccine, etc .
Make referrals.
Keep area ready for emergency cases by:
Scheduling our sterilization of instruments and supplies: do weekly requisition and turn it to
our own supplies for use like gauze bondage 4x4, 2x2, cotton balls, pledgets, sutures etc. then auto
claving it.



Do after care after each procedure.
Does recording and filling of patient’s charts and procedures.
Renders post mortem care in case of death.
