Final tests 1-3 for obtaining credits for B130P16E (Practical basics of scientific work) 1) Perform a representative bibliographic search using WOS, SCOPUS or Pubmed database. The topic should cover the scope of your bachelor thesis. During search use appropriate keywords and their combinations. Transform the resulting collection of papers (not more than 80) into your personal EndNoteWeb database. Using this program and Microsoft Word generate the reference list (using Insert Citation command directly into Word or export references and paste them into Word) according to example report file (example_report_test1.doc). Depending to your field of interest choose the appropriate format of references (select from the list of journals). State the title of intended bachelor thesis (if it exists of course). 2) Find the most recent ISI impact factor (IF) of scientific journal listed below and them in decreasing order according to this parameter: Nature, Chemické listy, Yeast, European Journal of Cell Biology, EMBO reports, International Heart Journal, PLOS biology Journal IF 3) Find the total number of papers of authors listed below from the year 1980 till today and state the number of their citations references according to WOS or SCOPUS databases (scopus username: JanPetrasek3; password: botanika). Remove autocitations, find h index and arrange authors in decreasing order according to their total number of citations with removed autocitations.
