Post-2015 Development Agenda
• Building on the MDGs
– Those goals not yet achieved will need to stay in the
list for additional efforts
• Improving the content of existing MDGs
– Some, such as MDG7, could use a review to make
their targets and indicators more suitable
• Identifying new goals
– Emerging challenges, such as growing inequality,
need global goals and targets
