of people believe in God and his prophet. Islam encourages Moroccan people to be
tolerant and live in peace.

In Islam we have the good behavior and respect for old people. In Islam we respect the other
religions. In Islam we have the spirit of cooperation and helping our brothers in Islam. In Islam
we have tolerance. Friendship and diversity - Islam resembles the other religions (bad and good
points about it).there are different types of Muslims ranged from very moderate to very
extremists.


place, in which we can live together - They like being understood by the others - It
helps in the social life; people make friends easily - People are free to give advice to
others - In my city, Islam is everything; it has an impact on our way of life. Islam
makes us help each other. Islam in Morocco is very open to the other religions - Islam
in Morocco is developing.
 Moroccan Muslims are so peaceful. The majority of Moroccan people are Muslims. The best time
to come here is during Ramadan, because the Moroccan Ramadan is very special. In Morocco,
people always refer things to the Quran or Suna - Islam in Morocco is quite simple. The
Moroccan people are very open - The majority of Moroccans are Muslims. We are Sunni
community. We believe that we are different from the other Arab countries. We are not
terrorists and we do not believe in terrorism. We understand others, we have friends from
other religions - A religion of respect – We believe in coexistence between the monotheistic
religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam).
 Importance of Islam to Moroccans - The Muslims in Morocco are friendly. Islam in Morocco
respects all the religions - Islam is a religion of tolerance and peace. We are (Moroccans) a
good example of Muslims that respect other cultures and religions -Islam is a religion of
accepting the other. Islam is a religion of tolerance. Islam is the last and the correct religion
that God wants Mankind to follow and practice. They have to know that Islam accept other
religions, things that other religions do not do. Islam is a religion of simplicity - Islam is a way
to guide people to the right path. Islam is a religion of tolerance which is founded on
coexistence. Moroccan people believe in Islam and they do follow its instructions and values.

Islam is a source of solidarity and brotherhood in Morocco. Moroccans show the best image of
Islam.
 Muslims welcome every person, even they do not know him - Muslims celebrate each
other, help each other in a good way – A Muslim can give you all what he has without
waiting for anything in return - Muslims can tell you everything about their life even
their personal life. Morocco is a country of peace and Islam even though there are
other religions - Morocco has the second biggest mosque in the world after the mosque
of Mequa - We live with Jews and Christians peacefully - There are Mosques and
Churches and Synagogues in Morocco- In Islam, you have to accept and respect the
other, even he is not Muslim - A religion of justice - Islam is based on respect others
whatever their color, religion - It’s a religion of justice - It’s a religion of emotion
 Solidarity, history of Islam in Morocco. Islam is the Moroccans way to find happiness and
tolerance, acceptance. Islam is the 1st religion, peace, love, equality, respect,
understanding others. Islam is the best religion. In Islam there are no differences
between religions. Islam is a religion of tolerance and solidarity. All practices are
brought by the prophet and from the Quran. They like to help others in need. People
are respectful; they greet each other even if they don’t know them. Moroccans are
proud of being Muslims. Muslims can tell each other about their personal life. Islam is
part of our constitution. Islam is very important to all people. All people must worship
God who is the maker of the universe. The Quran is a great miracle. It consists of
different scientific facts, which had recently been discovered. Muslims read the Quran
because it’s the book of the prophet Mohamed. Muslims pray five times and they must
fast in Ramadan. Islam in Morocco teaches people to forgive each other. Practicing
religion freely. Solid relations among the families. We believe in other messengers and
prophets of Allah. Prayers, fasting, charity, visiting Mecca, taking care of old people &
our parents these are the principles of Islam.
 Tolerance, Culture, Islam in Morocco is powerful. It’s the main religion. people with other
religions can practice freely their religious practices. Islam doesn’t prevent women
from being modern and productive. Islam in Morocco is a religion of help, Muslims
like others to convert into Islam and be Muslims, Moroccans live in harmony with non
Muslims and they are very opened and welcoming. Morocco is a country of tolerance
and multi ethnicities. Islam is obviously seen in Moroccans attitudes. The majority of
Moroccans stick to Islam rules. The best way to know Islam is to get acquainted with
some Muslims. Islam in Morocco invited us to be more serious, we are peaceful , we
don’t kill other people because we are Muslims, We respect other cultures and accept
diversity, you have to look for good Muslims who have the abilities to explain Islam in
different ways. Islam honors women, there’s no difference between black and white in
Islam, Islam protects human rights, it can help humanity to overcome social and
economic problems ,
 To understand Islam, Americans should do research in the right way. Islam doesn’t encourage
violence and terrorism, Islam is a religion of solidarity and dialogue, In Morocco there’s a
diverse community living in harmony thanks to Islam, Moroccan people accept each other

regardless to their race because of Islam. Islam is component of good things, respect Islam as
a religion, I want Americans to know that Islam is not a religion of terrorism as many of them
do, Moroccans are known by their hospitality, it’s a religion of acceptance and solidarity,
tolerance and friendship. 99% of Moroccans are Muslims the rest are Jews and Christian.
Although Morocco is Muslim country, Moroccans don’t practice Islam in a strict way. Islam
in Morocco is not so complex. Islam orders us to live peacefully with each other. Islam is a
religion of tolerance. Islam doesn’t force people to convert to it, it’s based on communication.
God created us from male and female to know each other. Islam is a religion of solidarity in
which the rich helps the poor. The real Muslim is peaceful and tolerant, Muslims in Morocco
respect all other religions, Muslims in Morocco are open –minded, they are against violence
and terrorism. Morocco is a peaceful country, it always welcomes new cultures. We are not
against the western world.
