CHAPTER 22 ASSESSMENT OPTIONS
DIRECTIONS
Listed below are the three assessment options for Chapter 22: World War I. Each option has a set of
Applied (APP) directions and College Prep (CP) directions. Choose one of the following assessment
options listed below and follow the appropriate set of instructions. If you choose to take the quiz, study
first and then take the quiz. If you choose to complete one of the alternative assessments, all of the
materials are here in the classroom. If you have any questions about any of the three options please ask.

APP:
Using the Website www.firstworldwar.com click on “Propaganda Posters” on the far left
side of the main screen, then click “United States” under the list of countries listed on the right
side of the Propaganda Introduction screen. Examine the WWI propaganda posters on this site to
get an idea of what types of efforts propaganda posters supported during World War I. Create
your own propaganda poster complete with picture and slogan and on the back write a 2-3
sentence description of what message your poster is trying to send or what cause it is attempting
to support.
