Kangaroos are mammals that hop fast.

Kangaroos have big feet and strong back legs that help
them hop.

They also have big ears to listen for danger.

Kangaroos lay around and rest during the day.

Kangaroos eat grass, leaves, and other plants.

Kangaroos only live in Australia.

Some kangaroos live in groups called mobs.

Female kangaroos have pouches that they hold their
babies in.

Baby kangaroos are called joeys.

I chose to research kangaroos because they are my
favorite animal and we both like to hop.
