How RF transformers work and how they are measured

... For N2 = 3, Rs = Rt ÷ 2 and Rp is infinite. For accurate RF phase balance measurement, the construction of the matching networks and the connections to them should be such as to provide electrical symmetry between the two halves of the circuit. To show the effectiveness of the above method, it was u ...

... Aside from these advantages, DDFS is only capable of producing the exact integer division of the reference clock frequency when the FCW is 2 to the power of an integer. However, PLL has the ability to lock its output to the input phase of a reference clock. Moreover, PLL is capable of producing high ...

Avoiding Harmonic Resonance with Low Pass

... When either the input or output stage reactors are considered in series with the shunt network, the natural resonant frequency is now forced to be near the 4th harmonic due to the larger total inductance (L). This means the APQ low pass harmonic filter will not cause harmonic resonance problems. The ...

Bode plot

In electrical engineering and control theory, a Bode plot /ˈboʊdi/ is a graph of the frequency response of a system. It is usually a combination of a Bode magnitude plot, expressing the magnitude of the frequency response, and a Bode phase plot, expressing the phase shift. Both quantities are plotted against a horizontal axis proportional to the logarithm of frequency.
