analysis and mathematical modelling of space vector modulated
analysis and mathematical modelling of space vector modulated

... This paper presents the work carried out in developing a mathematical model for a space vector modulated (SVM) direct controlled matrix converter. The mathematical expressions relating the input and output of the three phase matrix converter are implemented by using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The duty cycles ...

... An elementary single-phase thyristorcontrolled reactor (TCR) is shown in Figure (a). It consists of a fixed (usually air-core) reactor of inductance L, and a bidirectional thyristor valve (or switch) sw. Currently available large thyristors can block voltage up to 4000 to 9000 volts and conduct curr ...

... We have talked about the electromotive force (e.m.f.) created by chemical means in batteries. Batteries produce an e.m.f. that does not change as time passes – at least it doesn’t change up until such time as the battery wears out. There are other sources of e.m.f. that do change their amplitude as ...

... current through the battery is I = (12 V)/(5.22 ohms) = 2.30 A. b. This current of 2.30 A goes through the 3-ohm resistor, then splits up with part of it going through the 4-ohm resistor and the rest going through the 5-ohm resistor. Here is where the misunderstandings begin. The battery provides a ...

Stepper motor

A stepper motor or step motor or stepping motor is a brushless DC electric motor that divides a full rotation into a number of equal steps. The motor's position can then be commanded to move and hold at one of these steps without any feedback sensor (an open-loop controller), as long as the motor is carefully sized to the application in respect to torque and speed.Switched reluctance motors are very large stepping motors with a reduced pole count, and generally are closed-loop commutated.
