... cutoff of the AC-coupling network. When NRZ data containing long strings of identical 1’s or 0’s is applied to this high-pass filter, a voltage droop occurs, resulting in low-frequency pattern-dependent jitter (PDJ). This can be understood as illustrated in Figure 1. In order to limit the low-freque ...

... Using Ohm’s law, solve for the resistance values. R1’s resistance is the voltage across it by the current through it. This gives R1 = 2 kΩ because V/mA = kΩ. R2’s value is 3 kΩ. For v3 and v4, we know the total voltage across the two is v4 + v3. From the given equation, we know that v4 = 2*v3 becaus ...
MPPT and Voltage Balancing Control With Sensing Only Inductor
MPPT and Voltage Balancing Control With Sensing Only Inductor

... In this paper both photovoltaic voltage and PV current need to be sensed to perform maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control. For three-level boost converter, both capacitor voltages need to be sensed and an additional voltage balancing control loop is required to balance the capacitor voltages. ...

... Note: An error known as ’zero error’ is present in some differential transformer i.e. a nonzero reading at the null position. The main reasons for the zero error are non-uniformities in the windings, harmonic components in the primary signal, and non linearity in the device. The LVDT is a transduce ...

Stray voltage

Stray voltage is the occurrence of electrical potential between two objects that ideally should not have any voltage difference between them. Small voltages often exist between two grounded objects in separate locations, due to normal current flow in the power system. Large voltages can appear on the enclosures of electrical equipment due to a fault in the electrical power system, such as a failure of insulation.
