A Brief Review of Feedback Control Systems - CDEEP

... understanding of frequency control and voltage instability, we will first briefly review the topic of feedback control systems. What does one mean by a feedback control system and why/when is it necessary? To understand this let us take a simple example. Let us suppose that you wish to buy 1 kg of r ...

... Sometimes a nonsymmetrical square wave, also called a rectangular wave, is required. There are many ways to generate square waves, but if a high-quality signal source is not required, one of the easiest and least expensive approaches is to use an op-amp. In this lab experiment you will build a type ...

... The 2003 Mercedes- Benz SL was the first production vehicle to feature an electronic brake system. The brakes are still applied hydraulically, but the amount of force is controlled by a computer rather than the driver’s foot. When the driver steps on the brake pedal, a command is sent to the module ...

SIMULATION OF SYNCHRONOUS AC GENERATOR

... magnetic field, voltage is generated in conductor. [4] Generator works on this principle. As shown in the figure 2.1 the coil is placed in the magnetic field. When coil rotates it cut the magnetic flux lines and that produces the current in the coil. We get the maximum voltage, when coil is perpendi ...

Metadyne

A metadyne is a direct current electrical machine with two pairs of brushes. It can be used as an amplifier or rotary transformer. It is similar to a third brush dynamo but has additional regulator or ""variator"" windings. It is also similar to an amplidyne except that the latter has a compensating winding which fully counteracts the effect of the flux produced by the load current. The technical description is ""a cross-field direct current machine designed to utilize armature reaction"". A metadyne can convert a constant-voltage input into a constant-current, variable-voltage output.
